Hailed as “a robust and thrilling voice” by Dr. Brian Horne, Aiden Collawn is a bass pursuing his graduate studies at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where he also completed his undergraduate studies. He has sung repertoire spanning from Mozart to Bates. Notable roles include Sarastro in Die Zauberflöte, Colline in La bohème, Sir John Falstaff in Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor, and Le Duc in Roméo et Juliette. He has also worked with the Metropolitan Opera on the premiere of Mason Bates’s acclaimed opera The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay, in which he sang the role of Sheldon Anapol.
